Should I choose Cat6 or Cat6A?

The right cable depends on distance, bandwidth goals, pathway space, environment, equipment, and budget. The proposal should state the selected cable and the assumptions behind it.

Can existing cable be reused?

Existing cable can be evaluated, traced, and tested where practical. Reuse is proposed only after its condition and fit for the intended system are understood.

Is every cable certified?
